OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center
Robyn presently serves on the Board of Directors of OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center, a local nonprofit agency dedicated to providing grief support services, education, resources, and hope to those grieving the death of someone close. Previously, she served as Board Chair for the organization’s Associate Board, helping grow and lead a group of 30 young professionals to develop and build their philanthropic identities. In 2012, Robyn was honored by the Associate Board with the “Spirit of Hope” Award, for her exceptional work and leadership. Unique to Robyn’s philanthropy is her involvement in the agency’s programs. Whether volunteering at Camp Erin-LA, creating a team for the annual Run For Hope, or helping draft and execute the agency’s three-year strategic plan, Robyn is deeply committed to the future of OUR HOUSE. Her dedication has raised thousands of dollars and will continue to bring awareness to the importance of grief support services.
Second Saturday
Robyn is active in Second Saturday, a monthly divorce workshop founded by the non-profit Women’s Institute for Financial Education (WIFE.org). Second Saturday offers non-biased advice on legal, financial, and family dynamics matters surrounding divorce from qualified local professionals. Second Saturday provides attendees with the knowledge, support, and resources that they need to survive the divorce process and move forward with confidence toward a new life. Harriet Buhai Center
Robyn also volunteers her time representing low-income family law litigants in court through the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law. HBCFL provides free family law legal assistance to protect victims of domestic violence and improve the wellbeing of children living in poverty. For over 25 years, HBCFL has provided empowerment and meaningful access to the courts for those in need.
Pug Nation Rescue
Robyn is an avid supporter of animal rescue through Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles from which she is the beneficiary of her beloved pug, Rory. Pug Nation is a non-profit dedicated to the rescue, placement and care of abandoned, senior and handicapped pugs.
